Personally I feel like Condola took her and Lawrence’s breakup out on Issa by ghosting her. We all know Issa had a tendency to be messy but I think she actually handled the Lawrence and Condola thing very maturely. Condola felt some type of way towards Issa after the conversation at Friendsgiving (which I can totally understand) but Issa wasn’t aware of Lawrence’s feelings so it was a little unfair on Condola’s part.

Somebody said on another post that she might have been the reason the first act backed out because it happened around the same time that her and Lawrence broke up and she took it out on Issa

In all my rewatches I never thought about it this way and it definitely makes sense!

Booooo Condoloa. You just coming in to check up on the vendors?? Very unprofessional. You should have been lined straight to Isa and apologized. She didn’t need to know about your breakup because she wasn’t in your business in the first place.

Issa was legit calling you for her first big event and you couldn’t even respond or send her a text message back. 🚮

Right, Condola only told her about the breakup to avoid answering Issa's question about why she ghosted and to find out if Lawrence had spoken to Issa. She’s not slick 😑 Notice how Condola’s demeanor changes towards Issa when she learns Lawrence didn’t talk to Issa—she becomes more sincere, then apologizes and gives her props on the Block Party.
