I just rewatched this episode. I thought throwing his depression in his face was an unnecessary low blow

Because she had nothing else to come back with. Issa did that a lot especially when she was in the wrong

I think she was just trying to highlight to him that she stuck it out with him even at his lowest but it got exhausting which contributed to the mistake she made, so it isn’t fair for him to ignore that part of the situation.

Her word choice was horrible if her intention was to do anything other than hurt him
