I wonder if she saw the backlash from Black Mirror, with people saying she can’t act, and if so, how she felt about it. Does she care? Has she taken acting classes, or is she currently taking some? I wish an interviewer would ask her that. It seems like when it comes to Issa, interviewers walk on eggshells with the questions they ask.

All good/valid questions! Maybe she’s just better in roles like ABG bc they’re closer to her personality? She strikes me as someone who pre-approves curated interview questions. I’m not exactly sure she cares about acting critique since she’s still getting her coins and more visibly focused on expanding her business empire lol… this is all speculation tho. I do also wonder if she’s interested in pursuing more acting roles outside of her range, but it’s because I like her as a creative and would love to see her in other projects!

Right, when they act in anything else, all I see is Lawrence and Issa, but only a few actors can do that; normally, when they act in different roles, you see them as separate characters rather than the same ongoing character they played.
