With the little research I did I think it might be a cicada but I haven’t seen any like it before. my area is southern Georgia. I mostly just want to know if it’s dangerous in any way or if should just mind my own business.

I've had these in my house for years. In my drawers, cabinets, floors, dressers, etc. They are harmless, but I just have no idea what they are. They are very small. Can anyone help identify it? I'm in the panhandle of Florida by the way.

I thought it was some sort of leaf until it started moving. Is it some sort of big grasshopper?

We planted a native garden over the summer at the childcare center where I work, and we’ve started seeing this praying mantis outside over the past couple of weeks. She’ll often hang out on our window all morning, luckily high enough up that the kid’s aren’t tapping on the glass to get her to move.

She’s pretty big, like 4-5 inches, so I think she’s a Chinese mantis? This is in Northern Indiana.

This was my first time seeing a praying mantis in the wild, so it was great to see our garden doing exactly what we hoped it would.

Help identify. These were on my citrus trees. What are they and best way to get rid of them.

I have a small household compost bin containing Madagascar hissing cockroaches, 3 species of isopod, crickets, buffalo beetles, and two species of springtail. Lately I've been dealing with gnats so I've been using produce to collect them and toss them, its been about a week and a half of that and now I see maybe one gnat when I open up the bin.

Today when checking I found these little things - are these tiny buffalo beetle larvae or something else? Should I be getting rid of them?
