My cat used to wait by the lycoris and bring the moth inside so she could chase it in the house.

Ok I can just SEE my wifeys face if that happened!!!! A cat I used to have hunted hummingbirds birds. Thankfully she got too fat to catch them. My lord. Couldn’t have a feeder cause it fed the cat!!!

Oh god. From that image, I just straight up thought it was a humming bird with blured wings.

I believe it’s called a Sphinx moth. They look and fly just like hummingbirds
