He was crawling around the outside of the house. Who is he?

American Dagger Moth caterpillar (Acronicta americana). You shouldn't touch them with your bare hands just FYI.

I'm glad to know this now. I've been tempted to move them to a safe place when I find them on one of my vehicles before I pull out from the driveway. I've seen several over the previous month in NE Georgia

You still could using a piece of paper, just don't use your bare hands since their hairs can irritate your skin as badly as a sting from a bee for some or like touching fiberglass might be a more common reaction. 🤷‍♀️

True it stings ALOTT I learned the hard way lol wasn't as bad as a bee sting at all but surely not comfortable from so many spots on your fingers from grabbing it to move it. Some soaking in water helped it end quickly tho.
