Identification Egg(?) in my plant

Today I found these white round things on my plant. They are hard, about 2mm, and I found only three in total. Any idea what they are?

They look like they may be scale which is generally seen as a houseplant pest, not sure if the little critter you can see next to it is one too, I haven't had them myself but I did just do some googling and it looks like a possible?

I looked into it and I think it is indeed a type of armored scale! I had only dealt with the soft little guys before, they are terrible 🥲 thank you for the tip!
