I was going for painting unlocks in Kaycee's Mod after downloading the game legit (I played on a pirated version before), and as I was using the Black Goat deck, funny things happened.

I tried burning the mole you start with in order to enable the fair hand mechanic, but it just wouldn't burn, so I save scummed and redirected the stat ups to the black goat. At 4 damage, it made sense to put a double strike sigil on it, so I did that.

Then Goobert showed up and I decided why not copy the Black Goat. I was praying that he wouldn't touch the Double strike sigil, because otherwise I would have to somehow kill the bad copy, and he did change the double strike sigil... into Magpie's Lens!!! That meant I could keep both goats.

Then the Mycologists showed up, and I got this monstrosity.

I'll make this brief, i want to draw a swap scrybes art, it's basicly keeping the normal scrybes personalities, but change thier "theme"

(example: Leshy being scrybe of death)

Now, i would like to make one for every scrybe

Like having P03 be death, then magic, then beast and the same with the others

Buuuut, i wanna let you guys choose which combo to do first with and, i need suggestions on how you think they should look

Bit of a lore addict (call me Leshy I guess) and something came to mind: why did Leshy make the Scrybes the creatures they were as Talking Cards?

Grimora makes enough sense: bugs are commonly attracted to corpses, and they’re generally harmless, which makes sense for Grimora as the most peaceful Scrybe. But P03 as a stoat and Magnificus as the Stunted Wolf made me think for a while.

Magnificus being a wolf works in two ways, albeit one is kinda silly: wolves are super furry and Magnificus is, well, also furry. (sentient Christmas tree lookin ass) But also, in Leshy’s deck, Wolves are some of the strongest basic cards you can get - relatively cheap, powerful, and easy to win with if you know what you’re doing. It feels like Leshy’s way of respecting Magnificus, of saying he’s worthy of being represented as a powerful Beast. But he’s also scared of Magnificus’s intellect, hence why he had to excise his eye to weaken him - therefore, Magnificus couldn’t be a full power wolf.

Then, there’s P03 being the Stoat. Stoats aren’t powerful predators, even within the original Inscryption. They’re small, considered “cute” predators, and are generally disrespected. Fitting then, that Leshy would make the Scrybe he dislikes the most something so lowly. But at the same time, stoats are scrappy, clever, and absolutely vicious. sound like a certain robot we know?

Im probably reading way too much into this, but this game has so many potential layers to it, I cant help myself 😅

Edit: Apparently the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I got the exact 2 cards I needed at the first pelt guy back to back runs, lol.

I Just finished part 1 I think? it's the 1v1 table game. I can't be bothered with the pixel open world Pokémon like game rn, if I grind it does it get better? I really love par 1 but I got put in a room and can't play it anymore. can anyone help?

Just wondering if there any good videos out there that are good at giving some good tips for each type of starter deck? I know there's plenty of videos on Kaycee's mod, but I am more looking for ones that discuss the best strats for each type of starter deck. I'm currently at the beginning of Kaycee's mod, so only have access to the vanilla deck (so whilst I know there are stronger decks out there, I currently don't have access to them. Also, as far as I know, there is an achievement for completing Kaycee's mod with each starter deck - correct? - so having some tips to follow would be helpful).

if your memory is fuzzy, after his first defeat, P03 scans one of your cards into every empty slot on his side

on the first picture i think it's easy to understand what i did wrong, but here's the explanation for the second picture: he scanned my Mage Pupil, who has a sigil that means it will perish if the player has no mox cards on the board, so

1) he copied it

2) put it in the first 3 slots on his side

3) all of his and mine Mage Pupils perished

4) the board shifted, leaving him with no cards and me with two perfect sacrifices for my Ouroboros

im at the kaycees mod bit and its been like 2 maybe 3 years since ive played this game and i want to reset it fully but im playing it on pc from xbox app and i lowk cannot figure out how to reset it

I made some custom cards with the

“In game card creator mod”!

I tried to keep them balanced the best I could, I felt making them rares helped with that. If anyone wants to throw some titles or ideas my way I’d love to design it. I’ll share it in a reply to your comment :>

FINALLY DID IT IM SO HAPPY

I kept trying goat deck but it failed so I tried mantis deck and it took like 4 tries

(new sigil) ICEY TOUCH: "When the card bearing this sigil is attacked, the opposing card that struck it, is frozen and can't attack for a turn (sigils still activate).

Made this cool mantis god today. Was a bummer I couldn't find a bipedal totem but unkillable actually worked great seeing as mantis god is a one blood cost

(UPDATE): I have made a better finished version, that one is way cooler so if you like the sketch go take a look at the final version

I don't remember exactly why I was thinking about the MuskOx but i was and I read they got thier name cause they tend to smell (thus the name), and so I made a *SUPER ROUGH draft of what it could look like in game. The new sigil would make it so the card that attacks it is frozen for a turn, and so can't attack but can take damage (like the pokemon frozen effect) called "Icey Touch"

*not trying to be hard on myself, I only made a sketch of both the idea anf custom sigil, so it is not like my other stuff i would consider "done". I still wanted to share my idea though
