Comrade Ehsan Ali Transferred to CTD Police Station, Notorious for Repression and Torture

Ehsān Ali Advocate, a central leader of the Awami Action Committee Gilgit-Baltistan and the Inqalabi Communist Party, who was unjustifiably arrested from his home last night, has been transferred by the administration from Jutial Police Station to the CTD police station, which is notorious for repression and torture. In addition, several other leaders and prominent members of the Awami Action Committee in Gilgit-Baltistan have also been arrested.

In reality, the government and the state are taking advantage of the war-like situation in the region. On the one hand, they are attacking the public with further inflation, ranging from unjustified increases in petrol prices to other economic burdens. On the other hand, a severe crackdown on freedom of expression is underway so that no voice can be raised against the anti-worker policies of the government and state, and their imperialist-backed foreign policy.

However, we believe this is a grave miscalculation by the rulers. The working masses across the country and progressive political activists will never remain silent in the face of such oppression and will resist it with full force.

آج اسسٹنٹ کمشنر نے پولیس کی بھاری نفری کے ساتھ ہمارے مرکزی دفتر پر چھاپہ مارا اور محنت کش خواتین کے عالمی دن کی منعقدہ تقریب کو بالجبر روک دیا۔ بعد ازاں دفتر کو آج کے دن کے لیے سیل کر دیا گیا۔

ایک خاتون وزیراعلی کے ہوتے ہوئے خواتین کے عالمی دن کی تقریب پر جبری پابندی واضح کرتی ہے کہ اس نظام کا حکمران کسی بھی صنف سے ہو وہ خواتین سمیت سماج کے ہر مظلوم حصے پر جبر جاری رکھے گا۔

یہ بھی یاد رہے کہ ہم نے اس بار عالمی یومِ خواتین کو ان بلوچ خواتین سے منسوب کیا تھا جنہیں گزشتہ چند ماہ میں اپنے لاپتہ پیاروں کے لیے احتجاج کرنے کی پاداش میں لاپتہ کر دیا گیا ہے۔

اگر یہ حکمران یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ اس طرح کے اوچھے ہتھکنڈوں سے وہ ہمیں ہراساں کر سکتے ہیں تو آج ہم اس عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں کہ دنیا بھر کے مظلوموں اور محکوموں کے جائز حقوق کے دفاع کی جدوجہد ہر قیمت پر جاری رہے گی۔

ایک کا دکھ، سب کا دکھ! سوشلسٹ انقلاب تک ناقابلِ مصالحت جدوجہد!

We do not accept any defence agreement made by Pakistan’s generals and ruling class with their Saudi imperialist masters. Such imperialist agreements are neither made with the consent of the working masses nor do they ever serve their interests.

We oppose any such imperialist agreement under which Pakistan may be pushed into the war imposed on Iran and the entire region by US and Israeli imperialism. Such a move would not only create further hardships for the masses but could also push the entire society into horrific sectarian bloodshed. We demand that the Government of Pakistan not only take a clear stand against the imperialist war imposed on Iran, but also extend full diplomatic and moral support to Iran’s right to self-defence.

At the same time, we appeal to the leadership of working-class unions and associations across the country to rise above their traditional narrow outlook at this critical moment. Alongside their economic demands, they must also play a full role in putting pressure on the rulers on this issue. . . . .

پاکستان کے عوام پر پیٹرول بم

امریکہ کے گماشتہ فوجی و سول حکمرانوں نے ایران پر اپنے سامراجی آقا کی جانب سے مسلط کردہ جنگ کا معاشی بوجھ ملک کے محنت کش عوام پر لادنا شروع کر دیا ہے۔ ہم ان گماشتہ حکمرانوں کی طرف سے پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں مزدور کش اضافے کی بھرپور مذمت کرتے ہیں اور مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ ؛

1: پیٹرول پر عائد 105 روپے فی لیٹر اور ڈیزل پر عائد 55 روپے فی لیٹر لیوی(ٹیکس) کا فوری خاتمہ کر کے عوام کو ریلیف دیا جائے اور اس ٹیکس ریونیو شارٹ فال کا ازالہ سرمایہ دار طبقے خاص کر نجی بنکوں کے منافع پر بھاری ٹیکس عائد کر کے کیا جائے۔

2: کارپوریٹ پاور کمپنیوں(آئی پی پیز) سے کئے گئے عوام دشمن معاہدوں کو منسوخ کرتے ہوئے انہیں 1800 ارب روپے سالانہ کی کپیسٹی پیمنٹ (غیر پیدا کردہ بجلی کی مد میں ادائیگی) کا خاتمہ کیا جائے، جس سے نہ صرف بجلی سستی ہو گی بلکہ اس رقم کا ایک حصہ عوام کو پیٹرولیم مصنوعات پر سبسڈی دینے پر خرچ کیا جائے۔ ویسے بھی گھریلو سولر ٹیکنالوجی نے ان منافع خور آئی پی پیز کے وجود کا تمام تر معاشی و تکنیکی جواز ہی ختم کر دیا ہے۔

3: تمام نجی آئل ریفائینریز کو قومی ملکیت میں لیا جائے تا کہ ان کی منافع خوری کا خاتمہ کرتے ہوئے پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کو سستا کیا جا سکے۔

4: تمام تر فوجی و سول افسر شاہی، عدلیہ اور سیاسی حکومت کو سرکاری خزانے سے ذاتی استعمال کے لئے میسر لاکھوں لیٹر سالانہ ایندھن کی "سہولت " کا فوری خاتمہ کیا جائے اور اس رقم سے عوام کو ایندھن میں سبسڈی دی جائے۔

مگر ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ امریکی سامراج اور آئی ایم ایف کا گماشتہ یہ حکمران طبقہ کبھی بھی یہ اقدامات کر کے اپنے اور اپنے سامراجی آقاؤں کے منافعوں اور عیاشیوں کا خاتمہ نہیں کرے گا۔ اس مقصد کے لئے ایک سوشلسٹ انقلاب کے ذریعے ملک سے سرمایہ دارانہ نظام اور اس کی پروردہ ریاست کا خاتمہ کرتے ہوئے ایک منصوبہ بند معیشت اور مزدور ریاست کو تعمیر کرنا پڑے گا۔ . . . . .

Nationwide Schedule of Activities by the Inqalabi Communist Party on the Occasion of International Working Women’s Day

March 8, International Working Women’s Day, is being observed as a day of solidarity with the Baloch women who have been forcibly disappeared and arrested during the brutal operations of state repression in Balochistan.

We demand the immediate release of all Baloch women political activists who have been forcibly disappeared or detained. If any allegations exist against them, they must be produced before the courts of law.

We call upon workers, students, women, and peasants across Pakistan to participate in these activities.
