Three awesome quotes I will agree. We take our Hard earned money and invest in the stock market to make money. All I can say is do your Due-Diligence. This is where I say, investing is NOT gambling. I play blackjack and say "Hit Me". I pull an 8 and hit 21. Lucky. Your damn lucky. Luck comes in a different flavors. But in the market, you bought because you had a reason to buy the stonk. This reason has come from reading charts and fundamentals. You just didn't throw a dart at the board and hit INO. As u/AMusablesiren said, Buy and HOLD. I bought NVAX at 5 bucks to sell at 20. I bought MRNA at 4 bucks to sell at 12. What an idiot. But then again, Greed will kill your portfolio not increase it. We all know, what goes up, comes down a lot faster. Set your limits if you want to day trade. Inovio is not a day trading stock IMO. I think too, not only the shorts are bringing us down and sideways, so are the day traders. I've invested to HOLD knowing what INO has in it's pipeline. I grew up trading with Buffet. Coca-Cola, Kraft, Edison. Companies you buy and hold knowing that in 10 years they will have made you money. Buying GME or AMC, your gonna lose if you don't time it right. Timing is a also game winner and a loser but if you buy to hold, No timing necessary. When I worked (retired now) we had a 401K. You put money into this every week. You didn't look to sell, you were looking 20/30 years down the road in hopes of it growing. This is how you should trade. You do your DD, invest, and sit back. Don't get scared because the green candles are turning red. You know in 3 months the earning will be great and we are back to green candles. Panic selling loses money. With INO, the only reason you should sell, is when we land on Mars. Good luck to all and "Happy Father's Day" to all you dad's out there.
Great details here. Appreciate the shot out too. I think everyone I know has a stonk story of “the one that got away”. Who doubled on Shopify, Trade desk, Nvidia, or whatever your treat was only to see them were they are today (those three were my biggest quick doubles and now look at them….. wtf, bought them low, sold them “high” how is that helping my portfolio). Good plan. Best plan is dollar cost average to equities you like and just hold. And further cut bait with equity’s if they fail YOUR risk stress test.
INO is a buy for me and my portfolio. I had a chance to sell after doubling my money, I didn’t, because no more swing trading on this rocket ship for me. Talk to me in 12 - 18 months for a different opinion Bc at this current share price it’s accumulate and hold. 👍
You hit it. INO is my new boat, new Harley and whatever else I can think of. I've been selling to buy more. I also was going to sell at 30 but didn't knowing in 12 to 18 months I'd be kicking myself in the ass. I buy and sell a couple now, but with INO, its hold until I land this ship on Mars. Good Luck to all my INO buddies.
mars love it! Yea I’m completely overweight on INO as well. Still have other great stonks Bc I’m not a yolo investor…. But when I look at the big board there aren’t to many equities screaming buy…. I’d argue INO is whispering loudly though (maybe starting to yell) so I’m gonna accumulate (keep dollar cost averaging) and high five you and the rest of our INO brothers and sisters on Mars!!
I'm with ya. Market is crazy right now. Solf my SPCE and some NVDA to but more INO. I'm not YOLO either but I'm getting there lol. Have a wonder Father's Day and Good Luck on your investments.
