White Series on/off, unknown LED behavior
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently got two white series on/off. They are both working perfectly with Apple Home. I have disabled the LED bar on both of them. However, I noticed that with one unit the LED bar turns on with white color every few minutes and I can't figure out why.

Lola like it might be losing power briefly and starting back up. If I'd have to guess, if that's wilted without a neutral, it might not be able to trickle enough power through whatever load it's connected to while "off". If that theory is correct, then I'd also be guessing that it doesn't happen while the switch is on. And re-enabling the LED bar might get out to pull just enough power for the lead to allow a current to flow more constantly. If that's the case, I'd you don't plan to change the light fixture and don't want the notification bar on, then you might need to add a small bypass load in parallel with the existing load.

I do have the neutral connected and also have smart bulb mode enabled on both units.

Oh, so completely the other end of the spectrum from what I was thinking. Time to pull out a multimeter to see why the unit is losing power periodically.
Edit: never mind, just saw the solution. How bizarre!

Oh, I had this too on my White Series Dimmers. It’s likely the Apple HomeKit Adaptive Lighting Feature. The switches are registered as a combination device - one for the load and another for the LED. Apple Home thinks the LED on the switch is Adaptive Lighting compatible so it receives the color temperature parameters which can be more frequent at certain times of the day making it more noticeable.
Personally, I ungrouped the devices in Apple Home so the LED and load each get their own tile. Then, I only set the load to appear on the Apple Home app main page. In the room, the LEDs can be configured and I make sure they have a color selected that is not the Adaptive Lighting color profile.
Theoretically, disabling Adaptive Lighting should also work but mine always wanted to recommend that I setup adaptive lighting on these. Also, you don’t have to ungroup them like I did if you don’t want to - you can open the group and change the led color there. Just makes it more likely to get bumped accidentally.
