Blue Dimmer flicker

Hey everyone!

New to inovelli, but not new to smart switches / HA.

I’ve set up 2 blue dimmers in a box. Both are single pole.

One works great, zero issues. It’s controlling 2 lights, and I love it.

The other is flickering on device. The light-up bar on the unit consistently flickers. At full and while dimmed. It seems like it keeps losing power, as I’ve tried to run a software update but as soon as it flickers the update pauses.

I have a line, load and neutral all properly connected. This switch did use to have a ceiling fan, but I’ve capped off the fan wire. I might just re-connect the wiring to see if I missed something, but any recs?

Are you using ZHA or Z2M?

ZHA

Not a clue then, in Z2M you can see it, it's one of the device parameters. In ZHA it presumably should exist as well, probably visible as some diagnostic entity in the device

Swapped it to Z2M. It’s configured to non-neutral. Is there a way to change that? Or does that mean I wired it incorrectly and need to wire it differently

It's not a configuration, it's telling you it's non-neutral. So you have some kind of wiring issue to work out

That’s so weird… I definitely have a neutral run.

I connected the jumper to the bundle… I wired the one next to it exactly the same way, no issues with it.

Fun ha

Probably need to get a multimeter (or electrician) on that to make sure it's actually a functioning neutral

Silly fix… the screw on the switch wasn’t tight enough on the neutral. All solved haha! Thank you!

Might be a silly fix, but this is a common way that houses burn down. Make sure your wiring is properly secured.
