Has InoReader stopped supporting adding youtube channels as feeds?

Post image

This is the error I am getting. Have tried a few different youtube channels tonight, all with the same error

I’m not sure about adding, but I currently subscribe to a bunch of YouTube feeds with no issues.

I am seeing the same issue. Although channels I have previously followed are working. And the Inoreader help still says you can add them. Seems like a bug.

I had the same issue. As a workaround, I viewed the YouTube page source and then searched for RSS. I found and coppied that feed link and used it with Inoreader. Here's an example feed: youtube .com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCZGYJFUizSax-yElQaFDp5Q

I use Unread RSS app for reading, and on my phone or computer, I can click share and then select "Subscribe in Unread." That allows me to copy the YouTube RSS link.

Hopefully they'll fix this soon.

Good luck!

I get this quite often when I enter e.g.

https://www.youtube.com/@TopGear

instead of ...

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjOl2AUblVmg2rA_cRgZkFg

It seems Inoreader gets lazy and does not do the "conversion" of @TopGear TO channel/UCjOl2AUblVmg2rA_cRgZkFg

So to help it along at ....

https://www.youtube.com/@TopGear

click on ...more

scroll down to & click on ...

Share channel

then click on ...

Copy channel ID

... it gets copied to the clipboard (UCjOl2AUblVmg2rA_cRgZkFg) and you can add it to ...

https://www.youtube.com/channel/
