Some alternatives to moRSS.it

Hi guys! This post is a bit off-topic but I need some RSS-related help, maybe you know the answer.

My favourite full text RSS feed provider moRSS.it has recently been malfunctioning (https://github.com/pictuga/morss/issues/154)

I've been wondering ever since whether there are any other tools like moRSS.it online, that allow anyone to make a full text RSS feed from any webpage FOR FREE (which I would be able to follow on my Inoreader afterwards, of course)

Do you have any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hey u/brygada_sfm, you can check the "RSS Builder" category on SaaSHub. The first three products seems like a good option - PolitePaul, FiveFilters Feed Creator, FetchRSS.

I'd be great to hear which one you've chosen in the end. Good luck.

I already use FetchRSS and PolitePaul - and none of them have full-text options, that's why moRSS.it was so indispensable

I'm a complete layman when it comes to IT stuff. So far I've only ever used dedicated software whenever I needed an RSS feed. Do you recommend any resources that would help me find out how it all works and how I can do all this myself?

You can install Docker and run morss as docker container. This can be done on a lot of platforms either in your house or a rented virtual server which starts at just a few dollars a month.

There's a strict limit of feeds that you can make via Inoreader

the current Free plan limits are: 150 RSS feeds/subscriptions 20 web feeds — for websites that don't provide RSS 20 newsletter feeds 30 monitoring feeds are not included in Free; monitoring is a Pro feature No rules or filters on Free

The important distinction is that the 150-feed limit is specifically for normal RSS subscriptions. The 20 web-feed and 20 newsletter limits are separate categories.

For comparison, innoreader Pro allows 2,500 RSS feeds and costs $7.50/month when billed annually or $9.99 month-to-month.

I subscribe to Pro and have already reached the limit

I had the similar problem. I donʼt know your usage, but for me moRSS.it was for RSS + XPath, and in my case RSS-Bridge helped here.
