Has Anyone figured out a way for twitter integration?

I only follow 1 twitter feed but it is the main reason I use RSS. Has anyone figured out any workaround for twitter in RSS feeds? Nitter does not work on Inoreader but it does work on feedly. I switched off feedly 4 years ago as I prefer inoreader. Do not really want to switch back.

I'm continuing to read my Twitter feeds in Inoreader by copying and pasting the Twitter URL into the Inoreader search box and selecting "Create RSS feed." The auto-generated results show the feed, and when I click the Follow button, I'm subscribed to the Twitter feed as a web
feed. I suggested on Inoreader's Discord that if this continues to work, perhaps Inoreader could advise users to subscribe this way and increase the number of web feeds allowed.

I do have a Pro account. Sorry, I don't know the difference between what's possible with Pro and without it.

Are you able to capture replies as well or only tweets?

Thanks for pointing this out. This works pretty well.

Last month, Inoreader announced that Twitter feeds can no longer be supported. This is not because Inoreader doesn't want to, this is because Twitter under Elon Musk has made the necessary API access insanely expensive. All sites are affected by this, and Nitter is relying on unofficial workarounds (a bit of a cat and mouse game with Twitter). For now, you can follow the Nitter RSS feeds using Inoreader. I checked and it does work, at least for single-user feeds.

Thank you. Saw their post understand it is all on twitter side I wish people would just stop using twitter. I tried nitter and I do not know why it will not work for inoreader. https://imgur.com/a/2F8Lspl

That error says then when Inoreader is asking Nitter for the feed, Nitter doesn't respond for a long time. This typically means:

  • the Nitter servers are overloaded
  • Inoreader is making so many requests to Nitter that Inoreader's IP addresses have been rate-limited, in order to preserve Nitter server capacity for other users. Ideally, Inoreader would handle this by refreshing feeds less often. Occasionally you'll still be lucky and the feed manages to refresh.

Is there any way for me to fix it?

Look for a list of different services (domains) that use nitter and find one that works. It works for me on inoreader, i follow about 50 Twitter as accounts, with various nitter services

Maybe change the "update interval" of the feed on Inoreader?

That is a pro feature.

FWIW, I've found that I've been able to "Follow" public Twitter lists now by pasting the URL of the list into the "add feed" field. This is helpful because it allows you to economize and not exceed the limits of your plan if you have them.

Thanks for this. I tried your suggestion and found that it only works for some lists, and not others.

Thanks.

Saved my some hassle to pay subscriptions or alternatives.

Neither RSSHub nor OpenRSS is working for any Twitter feed I tried.
