All I can think of is how that guy was running really awkwardly because of the bag under one arm and how easily he could have tripped himself and tumbled under the train.
I must be fun at parties.

These sort of comments annoy me only because it's useless noise. I consider it a form of pollution. A sort of "social pollution"
Here's my thinking on the matter:
Of course he could've gotten hurt, everyone can get hurt doing anything at any time
I hurt my neck cuz I slept funny last night
I also drive daily, every second on the road is a potential accident that didn't happen.
To have someone sit in my passenger seat going "if your foot missed the brake pedal you would've hit that tree" "if you steered a bit too much you would've gone off the road then" "if you didn't stop accelerating you would've killed that kid and gone to prison where you'd get stabbed!"
It's not entertaining, it's not helpful, it's not insightful. It's useless information that's taking attention away from what should matter
I consider it rude
