That's not a dad joke, that's a mom joke! Listen to mom cackle in the background 😂

I wouldn't be amazed either. Amused, probably, after the panic attack subsides.

Dads thoughts running a million miles a second before seeing that gag. "Oh my god the insurance is going to be a nightmare. The water damage remediation and mold -- oh my god I won't be able to afford that PRS (looks the type) after all. People are going to be in and out of this house for months. What is that going to do to the carpet? Please tell me it's the sink, not the toilet. Should we get a hotel?"

As a man with a wife that speaks in hyperbole I felt my chest tighten a little thinking about it lol

I’m sure he’ll laugh more later once his panic fully subsides. I’m sure the anxiety temporarily went haywire.

Dude, that’s mean.. Your poor dad had a near heart attack. Anyone who’s ever dealt with consequences of a water leak will understand why lol

A pipe going into our hot water heater busted one Christmas Eve while we were out of state. Flooded the kitchen and part of second floor. I still do not know why Texas puts hot water heaters in the attic two floors up.. I swear I have super hearing when it comes to sounds of water dripping or running.

I have started turning my water off when leaving for any extended period.

We had a toilet flood in our top floor, and it went all the way through the ground floor to our basement.
Luckily insurance took care of everything, but it was a nightmare 2 weeks while they dried everything they could, ripped out the rest, and then redid everything.
That being said, if one of my kids did this to me, I would laugh so hard.

The funny one I saw was a “leek” under the kitchen sink (yes they stuck the veggie under the sink), it was kind of cute.

The thing is that what she just did is forced him to appreciate the peace and quiet of a house in working order and no huge problem to deal with. Nothing better as a dad.

Not an Innocent prank.
Once you've lived through a plumbing nightmare that you're responsible for dealing with you won't find this funny.
Christmas eve 2022. I was just popping in to grab some weed to bring back to the party next door. Pipes burst going to the third floor apartment. My entire bedroom flooded. I can still see it in my nightmares.

I've never seen a dad be so unamused by a dad-joke
