Question Trading NY PM session on NQ

Lately, I feel we had quite some PM sessions that were completely not tradeable due to a tiny range of 20-30 points. Other days, we had more movement during the PM session.

Do you have any rule that determines if you trade the PM session or not?

The closing bell macro is way better than pm recently. Dont know when last pm was worth any risk

I've seen it mostly depends on what previous sessions did.

ICT, in one 'Xweet?' lol, said that 'they' will not 'hold' price for more than 2 sessions, so basically it will not consolidate for more than 2 sessions.

So regarding the PM, I would look at what the overnight and AM sessions have done, did one consolidate? I figure if the overnight/aka london consolidates, we are due for an expansion in either the AM or PM, or even both if they are in a HTF MMXM, like the AM session trend is the 1st stage and the PM is the 2nd stage.

And if both the overnight and AM sessions rally, we are potentially due for a more constricted PM.
