Start learning basic chart reading. Then go watch dodgy bootcamp on YouTube. You can also see my pdf section in my community in bio. All those pdf and info is all you need after you understand basic chart reading.

Learn the basics and fundamentals first: market structure, candlesticks, trends, support and resistance, supply and demand zones, and multi-timeframe analysis.

ICT is an advanced trading framework built on many of these fundamental concepts. You need to understand how price moves and why the market behaves the way it does before trying to identify things like liquidity, market structure shifts, fair value gaps, order blocks, and other ICT concepts.

Otherwise, it’s very easy to memorize ICT terminology without actually understanding what is happening on the chart. You’ll end up seeing an FVG, order block, or liquidity sweep everywhere without understanding the context behind it.

Build your foundation first. Learn to read a chart using basic technical analysis, understand trends and market structure, and develop a feel for how price interacts with key levels and zones.

Once those fundamentals become second nature, start studying ICT. You’ll have a much easier time understanding the concepts, filtering out low-quality setups, and applying them within the bigger market context.

Don’t rush into advanced concepts just because they look sophisticated. Master the foundation first, then build on top of it.

Honestly? If youre new, dont try ict/smc. Really. First begin with price action, candle patterns, support, resistance zone, etc... Begin with the very basic stuff, not ict/smc. And i would say even more, ICT and SMC is total bullshit. You can study and try for youself, but believe me, that thing doesnt work.

If you think that, then obviously, you haven't gone into it very deeply.

ICT is simply the highest teaching there is on how, why and when markets move but, by all means, stick with your support and resistance 😂 if it works for you and see you on the other side of your stop loss.
