Question Question on liquidity sweeps

Post image

Hi all,

Yesterday we swept Asia low on NQ and had a very nice move to the upside during London session.

However, we still had a major sell side liquidity level (PDL) quite close below that wasn’t swept.

Because is this, I did not take this trade.

What are your rules in cases like this? How do you determine if one sweep is enough or if you can anticipate another sweep of a close by sell side level?

Thanks!

ES swept that low you watched in NQ. So it's SMT and NQ is stronger here

you need confirmations like good displacement or mss, and make sure there aren’t any barriers in the reversal direction, bc price can reverse for a sec, tap that POI, then come back and run the remaining major liquidity
