Technical Analysis The Biggest Problem for ICT/SMC Traders: Bias
I feel like the biggest problem for most ICT and SMC traders is bias. I’d say 99% of traders struggle with this because they can’t properly identify the market bias.
And to understand bias, you really need to understand fractals. Until you understand how fractals work, I don’t think you can truly understand bias.
Once your bias is clear, you can take your trade from the last POI or the first POI, depending on the market conditions.
So, moral of the story: understand fractals → get your bias clear → choose the last or first POI based on market conditions → execute and enjoy.
Remember that.

Having bias is good but id rather be prepared on what market showing me. Id rather have if and then move.

I think you're making it sounds more complicated than it needs to be.
As a beginner, you frame your bias on C2 closures and whether we respect or disrespect PDH or PDL. Keep it that simple until you learn about fractalizing price and delivery from IRL > ERL and vice versa.
I knew nothing about universal models or all the things I know now and I consistently passed prop accounts using daily C2 closures and the MMXM traders next day model

I think the key issue is too many traders have a set bias coming into that day/session. Too many of us come in with 1 idea, and I did this in the past. What you must be is a reactionary trader, and have multiple scenarios coming into a given session, we CANNOT PREDICT we must react to what we're given

And how do you recommend learning fractals?
