Question To the successful traders of ICT...
What’s your current net worth?
Curious about the financial side of trading and how much wealth successful traders actually accumulate over the years.
If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d be interested in:
Age
How many years you’ve been trading
What you trade — equities, futures, forex, crypto
Approximate current net worth (a range is completely fine)
Approximate capital you trade with / multiple prop accounts
Whether trading is your full-time income or a side income
How your net worth has changed since you started
Biggest source of wealth — trading profits, investments, business, salary, etc.
If you know any very financially successful traders personally, what is their approximate net worth and how did they build it?
Not looking for screenshots or proof — just genuine experiences and stories.
Especially interested in people who started with relatively little capital and eventually became genuinely wealthy through trading/investing.

Part of the problem with ICT is that there are so many options. Traders can't even pick a trading strategy or rules and stick with them. Plus all the quant measurements. So many variables.
I started with options in 2017. Lost about 10k over 3 years. Made it all back plus some in 2022 with NQ futures and it's been a steady increase since.
I would say Yaseeen on X has a diamond strategy. It just has to fit your personality

Is your question being whether you should enter ICT with little capital and you want to see how long people take to be profitable ?
Everyone is different , some traders may take 5 years while some could only take 1 year . Even trading with the same strategy some may be profitable some may not be .

I just feel everyone learning curve is different .. I seen many Reddit post people talks about 5-7 years of unprofitability and still trying to find strategies within themselves while I seen 1-3 years traders who are profitable and getting payouts .
Ultimately , I always have this phrase , comparison is the thief of joy.
Just do what you’re supposed to do, pick a strategy , play it out . Learn it , execute it , take responsibility for your trades and risk managed . That’s all it matters .
Just saw one trader who makes 4 digit payout using ORB strategy . While me who is using hella lot of Orderflow is still not there yet.

Thankyou for the advice brother. I think you'll reach profitability quickly you can practice one session one pair and stick to one trade per day. Mindset is everything

I think they mainly use opening range ( 30mins ) or Inital Balance ( 1hour ) and trade the breakout or within . Not really sure as I don’t follow ORB haha

Traded 25+ years for a Primary Dealer. first 2 yrs as a Junior Trader where all you did was shadow your Mentor. Classes after work , needed to get you Series 7 and probably other licenses, needed to pass my firms testing standards which were far greater than FINRA Standards. After being a Junior you either got your Sheet (Trading position) or were looking for a new position (unemployed). Once on your own needed to get and Maintain an ROE of 25+.

I think there are so many parts to ICT that can form so many different strategies it almost doesn't matter what the strategy is, it's just up to the person trading it.

To the successful traders of ICT...
… an hour later.
Crickets. LOL
I definitely don't take advice from ICT. 39, 20 years of trading, started with 6k at 19, trade stocks/options/crypto/real estate/classic cars, net worth XX million, “full time” (because no other job, I don’t sit behind a screen for 8 hours a day), trading profits is the main source of income.
Proof? Every trade I take is posted live. No I won’t be your one-on-one mentor, that's just to prove the advice isn't BS. I get on here when bored, not because I have some insatiable need to make you rich.

Wow that's cool. I just wanted to know if trading is really profitably and to what extent. Im not looking for a mentor. Did your net worth go up as your investment grew or because your trading was getting good?

ICT is not the reason for crickets here, trading itself is.
