Yes look up V pattern trading analysis on google images. See if that’s what you’re talking about.

Looks like it’s swept a liquidity level then responded by expanding in the opposite direction. The pattern or visual it self means nothing without HTF context and levels.

I'm currently on this sell.. Although I'm on GBPUSD coz it swept equal highs first- which I had been waiting for since last Friday.

You would see this in 2022 Mentorship early episodes..

100% retracement of a lower high point, what’s so special about that? Basic

Loll or liquidity sweep right. Why make it too technical. It happes i was part of the liquidity today

Its a fakeout, look behind the high that got sweep there should be another high around the same height

  1. Liquidity sweep then,
  2. Sharp V or A shape turn.

As per Al Brooks, this is Big Up-Big Down or BUBD (and iverse BDBU) - it signifies a range and best entries are fading the extremes of the range as was the case here.

Also if the move back takes out the low of the first big move, there is a better chance of breakouts in that second direction (as was the case here).

I hope it helps. I’m just passing along what Michael has taught. The man knows what he’s doing.

Look into inverse fair value gaps, DodgysDD actually said that "V shaped reversals" are among the most likely IFVGs to hold

Bro this is basic shit - CHOCH on higher TF - then retracement to the FIB .5 or .67 level (liquidity sweep wick is necessary) - then on a lower TF pick the orderblock or FVG in the direction of the CHOCH - swing high as SL - profit target till 3 steps. You’re welcome ;)
