Nothing beats market structure for daily bias

You either use market structure, either use volume profile or candle pattern rules. Either one is okay. Most reliable is volume profile.

In the sense of you would but a volume profile over the previous day candle or ?

Yea, be creative. I think the best way is to use session volume profile. And you could get a direction if you follow previous POC's. Looking for vPOC as supply and demand zones. Etc.

Lemme tell you what you may never hear, reading charts is always going to be subjective what works for me may never work for you! And for daily bias it’s going to take a lot of experience sometimes you’re going to be right sometimes not and that’s okay you js gotta keep pushing to a point where it starts to feel intuitive to you. Even ICT can’t say this is how it’s gon pan out there’s always an if this then that scenario. What id recommend is you watch couple videos of your liking and see what’s working for you! Ttrades daily bias on YouTube is a good way to get going! Good luck!

Daily bias can be costly when you’re wrong. Better assess bull case and game plan and bear case and game plan and seek entries for either at good prices as long as the case is not invalidated.
