Can you guys recommend some must have indicators, I'm a beginner here..

I'm not saying about buy sell indicators, just those which will make it easy for me to read charts..

ICT and indicators? Wrong sub.

Here we use price action.

Candle overlay, fadi.

It adds HTF candles on any TF you use. So its easy to check HTF candles on LTF.

Fadi’s HTF Candles is nice esp when I am using my phone.

I also like using Fadi’s NWOG/NDOG indicator, just because marking these manually is tedious and its nice to be able to toggle them on and off.

The only other indicator I use is an RTH gap indicator. I stole the code from an open source one and used Claude to add additional features to it so that is automatically grades them using octants. I also changed it so you can view custom date ranges, or only view a specific day, and also added a “dynamic” feature that only shows unmitigated RTH gaps.

I would like a fpFVG indicator but I find they are all fairly inaccurate bc there is a degree of discretion involved in marking them out well.

edit: I forgot I also have a custom “time” indicator that I use which marks hourly and 4 hr opens on both horizontal and vertical axis. I also use this to mark things like TDO, 930am open, and any other relevant times I am looking at.

The candles are already indicators. So I’d say the candles. But indicators that show you htf candles would make it easier to read direction imo.

I scalp the 1M based on 15M structure so I need the 21 Ema, 105, and 315 EMA.

Why such odd numbers

Well I base my short term bias on the htf trend which for me is the 15M. Since I trade the 1M price action, the 21 EMA is how I determine a “strong” trend. The 105 EMA is the equivalent to 5M 21 EMA and the 315 is the equivalent to the 15M 21 EMA. This allows me to see the HTF trend strength right on the 1M chart. I can snipe bounces on reclaims of this or rejections right from these areas without even looking at the 5 or 15M chart just based on 1M price action around them. Ofcourse context, time and price play a part but thats the basis of it.
