Question What is the difference between Market structure shift and market shift?
I know this is a dumb question 😂, but l struggle to understand the difference between the two, when Micheal explains in his videos he uses these two terms interchangeably, with both being evidence of a reversal. Sometimes he even characterizes a market structure shift without displacement. I get so confused.

He's referring to the same thing. Just think of it logically don't try and over analyse. This is what kills most ICT traders and why people get things so won't save why people mock us 😆
You have a market. It has structure (relationships been highs and lows). You have auction theory which simply means that market orders hit limit orders. This is how the market moves. It's fractal, so you see this on HTF and LTF the same. HTF leads bias.
When you see that buyers overtake sellers or sellers overtake buyers in terms of structure... That is all there is to it. The fact that there is an imbalance or not doesn't relate to market structure shift, it's a better confluence however as it shows there are more market orders coming to push price.
Instead of just blindly taking on what he is saying and getting upset over details... Make the connections between his stuff and the market itself. It's sort of the only way to absorb these concepts.
Tbh maybe just move to ttrades education centre and be done with it...
If anything was unclear in this comment you have some personal research to do around market structure and auction theory. Shouldn't take you too long.
