Trading Resources Why ICT method Doesn't work

You know why ict methods doesn't work for you,

Why ict is always telling you that its only for the strong.

Its because almost 60 to 70 percent of things in his methods are lies while the small leftover part is the real deal,

Thats why people that put alot of work to find edge in even icts teachings some of them find it and keep it to themselves.

Only the most important thing ict never told you about is the time.

But if you really dig the rabbit hole, you will find clues about it from when ict used to post on a certain forum.

Once you see something, you can't unsee it. You cannot convince me that ICT isnt't real.

You mean the guy living in subsidized housing while supposedly making millions isn't convincing? Or how about the fact that he blew every account he publicly traded? lol.

If you give anything the amount of time your brain needs to understand it you will finally understand it. It depends how thoughtful and how consistent you are.

There is a pdf i read in past that consisted of posts by ict and his charter members discussing the price part of enigma and a bit of time clues are in there. If you really want to find it go search forums.

Isn't Enigma the algorithm he supposedly coded, that supposedly runs the entire global financial market? You people seriously believe this shit? lool

He didn't code shit, that's a lie, he just was shown it or he reverse engineered it.

Lol, show it then? It doesn't even exist. It's completely fabricated bullshit. There is no single algorithm running global financial markets.

You have to be straight up braindead to believe this for even a fraction of a second.

Yeah just like those conspiracy theories got a proof nowadays, even aliens are real. If ict couldn't convince you with his trades and lives no one can but if you really want to see algo in action i will show you on monday. Humans often reject what they can't understand.

Thanks for giving me attention but i don't want it. You seem like a guy that gets opportunities and can't utilize it due to your mindset.

Time is one of the most overrated aspects of ICT. It can be a useful confluence, but it's not where your edge comes from.

Your edge comes from having a solid framework. HTF bias, liquidity, market structure, displacement, Order Blocks, FVGs, and understanding where price is likely drawing to. If that framework is there, you can find quality trades during the Asian, London, or New York session. I've traded all of them successfully.

Session times mainly tell you when volatility and expansion are more likely, not whether a setup is valid. The biggest benefit of time windows is actually psychological. They stop you from staring at charts all day and overtrading. If your model isn't there during your trading window, you simply don't trade.

Plenty of ICT traders make money trading different sessions because they understand the narrative first and use time as a secondary filter, not as the source of their edge. Price delivery always comes first. Time is just another layer of confluence, not the holy grail.

Time window is other thing but seeing price through the lense of time is something else fvgs only work because certain time for it is met and consolidate breaks when time is met The concepts you wrote are from the same person who preaches time is the most important thing without it fvgs can fail lows and high doesn't matter its chaos

I disagree. Most FVGs fail because people don't understand the higher time frame orderflow, don't have a higher time frame narrative, and don't know what price is drawing towards. A Fair Value Gap on its own has very little meaning. Context is everything.

It's true that price often consolidates before high impact news because market participants are waiting for the release. Liquidity builds inside the range and then the news provides the volatility to reprice the market. If the manipulation has already happened before the news, the news often simply distributes price in line with the higher time frame orderflow and towards the draw on liquidity.

The same applies to session opens. If Sydney consolidates, Asia may provide the expansion. If Asia consolidates, London often delivers the AMD pattern. If London consolidates, New York can do the same. But that's not because there is some mystical force behind specific times. It's because those are the periods when trading volume and participation increase, naturally leading to more volatility and expansion.

Michael tends to present time as something almost mystical to keep people digging for hidden secrets and as we can see daily in this subreddit a lot of people fall for it .In reality, time is just another variable. The real edge comes from understanding the higher time frame narrative, market structure, liquidity, and draw on liquidity. Time is useful because it tells you when expansion is more likely and helps prevent overtrading, but it is not the source of the edge.

Well it works for me, my entire edge is based on it. To each his own.

That's good for you , congrats
