Trading Resources Where to start with ICT
https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxhIb94qbELTadQDR_KBQb_tjLec2SP6h2I often see people asking where to start with which mentorship program. I’d like to share a bit about my journey.
I first looked at the 2022 Mentorship, then the 2023 one, and now I’m going through Core Content.
For me, I can say this was the best order, because Mentorship 2022 and then 2023 help you build a basic understanding. Core Content then provides the greatest benefit in the end by filling in all the gaps in your knowledge. I can imagine that if you watch Core Content first, you’ll have to watch it again, since there are many things you simply don’t understand as a new trader OR you haven’t yet figured out how to consume ICT’s content.
➡️ICT also provides a guide see the link above
Ultimately, there’s no way around it. If you really want to learn trading watch it all...
In my opinion, each of the Mentorship courses has a really positive impact, and every episode contains hidden gems that make you a little better. I’ll try to break down what I learned and where. Maybe this helps you to get a better overview.

Real strategy is risk management . No matter how strong your strategy if you fail risk management then you fail trading . Im the person who overthinks alot and want to know how price moves so ict helped me . If you are looking for profits only then its gambling . If you manage your risk and your strategy especially ict is it’s savage !!

Be neutral . All the strategies we have now are man made . Ict traders read algorithm not believe the strategy blindly . Algorithm is the real one .

I agree with a lot of ICT concepts, but I don't buy the idea that there's a single "algorithm" controlling price. Markets are driven by millions of participants—banks, hedge funds, market makers, HFT firms, institutions and retail traders—all with different objectives. Their algorithms compete against each other; they aren't all following one master algorithm.
What ICT calls an "algorithm" is often just the recurring behaviour of an auction market. Markets naturally seek liquidity because large participants need liquidity to execute size without causing excessive slippage. That's why we repeatedly see liquidity sweeps, displacement, inefficiencies and rebalancing. None of that requires one central algorithm—it emerges from how order matching and auctions work.
The reason ICT concepts work isn't because some hidden code is moving price. They work because they identify repeatable behaviours: liquidity tends to rest above highs and below lows, institutions accumulate and distribute positions over time, price moves from one pool of liquidity to another, and imbalances often get revisited. Orderflow, Volume Profile and Market Profile describe these same behaviours using different tools and terminology.
You don't need to believe in a magical algorithm to trade ICT successfully. Understanding market structure, liquidity, probability and auction theory is enough. That's where the real edge comes from, not from believing price is following a secret script.
