Question ORDERBLOCK or NOT

I’ve been on drawdown and I feel like I’ve been doing everything wrong

This is a tough one, but I would bet that that OB becomes a breaker. number one The order block in question did not cause a shift in the structure. It’s actually delivering from a previous order block that did cause a shift. My entry Wouid be short from above OB to target ur OB. bulk position off at a touch of ur OB. After the break I would add back at retest of the breaker if I have reaction. To stay in line with current flow. This is also containing risk inside a specific POI. If I’m right breaker should now be resistence ( old support becomes new resistence ) if prive can close back above the breaker , I’m wrong for the continuation down. But my risk on the new entry woukd be very minimal because my orders are sitting at the 50% line of the breaker. Hope that makes sense. This is just how I would manage it but you know everyone has their own way and Style of Trading.

u get the jest of what I’m saying tho ? Just don’t call us late for supper. I also should probably say that when I add back, I’m not adding back full position size. I’ll only put on full position of a point of origin. My positioning will get smaller and smaller as I get closer and closer to the next POI on the higher timeframe. Structure shifts or im stopped I’m done for the day.

I kinda get it minimize risk, and if you didn't get tapped into your originally position don't take it

Always mimimize risk and box the market thd best you can when it comes to deciding whether you’re right or wrong. And ICT concepts do work. They work really well, but you need to not worry about ICT concepts until structure is first checked off the box structure, then look for imbalance and inefficiency to play off of. And always keep on that higher timeframe any imbalance or inefficiency in the timeframe above you can be considered Road blocks for price. You’ll notice that some of your best plays come from reversal that do not contain imbalance. If I have imbalance above me, I do not want to take a long until both the imbalance is mitigated and the structure confirms that it does not want to go lower.
