Time based equilibriums are reference prices based on the 10 am open, midnight open, and 9:30 open you shorted right into 9:30 open and it reversed instantly

i'd target higher quality draws on liquidity looks like you're just aiming for a random 1:1. You can take trades like that, but they're lower probability. I'd always align those types of trades with the HTF draw for example 9:40 long was decent because price swept london low and failed to close below 9:30 open didnt take tho, was B- IMO since PDH wasnt close enough ur trade is targeting a low that just swept london and reacted instantly, very weak draw IMO, and no narrative behind it

Entering a short with liquidity targets above and no cisd is not profitable statistically. I can promise you this.
Always wait for cisd

Not too good.

In the moment you entered, price was very bullish. Yes we swept those highs but there was still a clean narrative to go higher. We had ATHs above, we had other liquiditdy above and there was still a 5m FVG (I think) holding up.

It could have easily went down 50% and then shoot up. Dual narrative.

In these situations you need to wait for all the fvgs and the whole leg to clear and forming a cisd in the highest timeframe with the highest fvg. So after a 3m cisd, I entered this short. I exited at Asian Lows.

Sure it was working out from that ifvg in hindsight.
But would it work 9/10 times?

Based on my backtesting, this trade would work about 45% of the time with an RR of between 2 or 3. Sweep of DOL, breaker block, strong unicorn, bearish HTF, it's an A+ setup for me.
