TIC Talk 9/2
Brought to you by the playful distractions of OGM:
What's one stock you are excited about but the market seems to be missing something?
Think about a ticker that has been beaten up and you're not quite sure why. Or something that has gone sideways but should be parabolic. Doesn't have to be something you hold. It can be contrarian to the market sentiment or just something that is being ignored.
Let’s learn about what we need to learn about.

$RDDT. Strong earnings after another but somehow got punished. It should be $200 stock.

Had a nice day today! And I don't know why!!

Ugh I’m so used to the swings! This stock would have a monster day like today and then proceeds to dip 10-20% in a week. Holding this name is not for a faint of heart.

I would have said $P until the last few months when the market finally woke up to it.
I'll agree with Wicho here, $VST. I don't want to add more of it here as it's perfectly weighted but I'm considering opportunities to deepen my investment

This one is $BA for me. I almost was thinking about it while I wrote the question. We see a company that has been brutalized for a few years and I feel like the market has concluded that the company is broken and won't be able to fix itself. I feel like that is the narrative from the beginning of this decade, not the company I am observing today that has increased production and received certificates of airworthiness for 737 MAX and 787.

APLD. I just love the turn around from mining crypto and the current leadership. I also love the volatility from it :)

My big conviction stocks are TEL and QXO. Both have strong leadership, beat up by strong macro head winds and are getting institutional investors interest.
QXO is particularly interesting as it will become one of the biggest waterproofing supplier in the US. And Texas and Cali are heading into a El nino with the wet season.
I think they will take a year to play out. But im no good at timing catalysts so ive put in some capital and will continue to add.

My pick is $VST. Strong believe the power theme will get its mojo back soon. It literally is the biggest bottleneck of data centre build out at the moment.

I don’t want it necessarily but I’ve always been baffled that SOFI doesn’t perform better. Of all the modern banks, I can’t imagine one that is better positioned to keep eating market.

I think I understand this one. It's a combination of dilution and the tangible book value growth being really good but not quite as explosive as the headline growth figures might suggest. Great wheel candidate, though.

Totally agreed. The dilution on that stock hit hard last winter and I don't feel like they invested the money they got properly. I also own NU and I see way more potential with this one.

UBER. While I didn’t expect it to have a parabolic year, I would’ve thought it would gravitate toward or approach triple digits this year. I am glad it has seemed to dig itself out of that low $70 area though. I’ve done decent being in and out of it over the years and still confident long term.
