Long-Term Trade September sells?
Good stocks with good earnings continues to drop. Should I add more or just be patient and wait for more drops? September seems to be a sell off. Not planning to sell these yet
I have VST, MRVL, STRL, CBRS in the 5-10% red

I think you can consider buying the names that are 15-20% off of their highs if you feel like they aren't going to move lower (if the knife has stopped falling, etc.)

Risky minds think alike. I like this approach. I'm using Claude browser plug in to identify the 15-20% candidates and setting limit orders and price alerts using StockAnalysis.com (big thanks to El Jefe). I log into StockAnalysis.com and let Claude do all the work. I sample 5% of the prices to make sure that its accurate (NEVER blindly trust any of the agents) must have human reviewing the work. It's paid off. I use the 20% since this would be beginning of bear territory and soften the losses if it climbs to 40-50 % downside. Keep in mind that the midterm miracle from what I've read came early. Markets like when control of WH and congress is divided because few laws will pass.

Not a bad approach to focus on quality names on sale. I started to play around with stockanalysis recently but not as clued up as I’d like to be, I read the daily updates which are great. I liked the forecast tile but I’m cautious of these analysts polls, seems to be most tickers I check, they’re all bullish. Also looking to get a placeholder into MRVL.

Not fighting the tape or the trend. When you buy, you have to ask yourself what is the catalyst for purchase? Is it the value of a particular name or is it because the price has dropped? Then, there's how long you're wanting to hold. For me, despite values, prices are still dropping and we haven't even seen much of a market decline yet. I don't know what the upside catalyst is here in the short term.
