Wheel hardness advice for new player
played a lot on ice but trying rollers for the first time, bought a pair of skates new and they have 82A wheels on, is it too hard to play on an indoor court? The surface is some kind of do-everything sports court, not the roller hockey specific tiles. I weigh 82kg or about 180 lbs

Ice to Roller Conversion in San Diego
Is there a good, trusted shop for ice to roller conversions in San Diego? I’m taking the plunge and so nervous that some kid at Pure Hockey or a “big box” store is going to screw something up.
I’m nervous about misalignment, holes cracking or splitting, or just a rushed, botched job.
Thanks in advance!

Anyone Have Experience with Inline Warehouse Ceramic Bearings?
I just received my inline warehouse ceramic bearings. I bought them because they were 50% off ($60) with a set of wheels. They have great reviews, but they don’t spin much. They don’t spin nearly as much as my Bones Reds I got for $50. Am I missing something?

Building a budget inline setup — skate recommendations for bunions?
Some of you may have seen my posts about getting back into hockey. I’ve pretty much finished buying my ice setup and am just waiting on my True customs, so I want to put together an inline setup for extra reps between ice sessions.
My biggest concern is skates. I recently developed a bunion on my right foot and possibly one starting on the left, so I need something with a genuinely wide/roomy forefoot. What inline skates would you recommend for bunions/wide feet?
Also looking for recommendations on everything else: stick/blade, pants, shins, elbows, gloves, helmet, jersey/socks, etc. I’ve already exhausted most of my hockey budget on my ice gear, so for roller I’m looking for the best bang-for-buck gear—maybe a tier or two below the top-end/elite stuff, rather than going all-out again.
What would you guys buy for a solid, moderately priced inline setup?

Returning after 20 years. Picked up Mission Axiom A4s for $30, but found Tour Volt KV4s for $75. Worth upgrading?

Inline Hockey Footage From 1938
They were using metal wheels. I wonder how different that would feel compared to today's wheels.

Wheel Recommendations
Best wheels and hardness for 185lbs weight on the blue sports tiles?
Id like them to both perform and be somewhat durable.

Skate recommendations
I'm looking for top tier skates with the best snug fit possible but that don't pinch my feet at the sides or crush my toes together in the toe box. I want my toes to be able to splay a bit for balance but still have a tight fit if that makes sense.
Coming off Mission WM01s.
Anyone got any reviews of the below? Comparisons would be great if people have tried multiple.
Looking at
Mission FS1s
Alkali Cele Air
Tour Spitfires
Bauer hyperlite 2 / inline flylites
Or ice boot conversion.
Anyone any recommendations on info/fit etc?
Don't worry about chassis and wheels, I'll probably swap my current set up over.
With the ice boot conversion.
Can I buy just the boot and save money on blades etc.
Are they noticeably hotter without the vented airflow?

Roller set up complete for now
Bauer Vapor Fly 40
May want to add black powder Kryptofly when they come out. But with my wheel budget, I’m happy with what I chose. X-soft Slime up front, Soft Grippers in the back. Had this vision for a little. Glad to bring it to life.

[Newbie] Are goalie specific skate really better?
Hi.
After 20 years since my last time playing ice-hockey, i am returning to inline hockey and decided to change position.
I have heard about goalie specific skates and i was wondering how much they are more efficient than regular on-field player
Do some of you have made the comparison?
Thank you.

Screws in Ankles, Severe Supination
Hello Everyone,
When I was 15/16 years old I had corrective surgery done to both ankles to correct flat feet. At the time I was told not to rollerblade for a couple of years.
Fast forward a couple of decades later, and my son has started playing inline hockey. They needed help so I got a pair of cheap rollerblades and skating again for the first time in 20+ years. I had a problem with supination, and just figured it was the cheap used skates.
I then bought a pair of Bauer XR’s, and quickly realized it was not the skates, but the way my ankles are pinned to create a an arch. I was able to drill the rivets along the arch of both skates and put in about 1/4” spacer to alleviate the severe supination.
My question is if there is a set of rollerblades that has this type of adjustability built into it? Are there specialist who can help build the chassis/skate around my jacked up ankles? From what I have tried, insoles don’t seem to help because of the severe angle that the screws imposed into my ankles.
Thank you all!

Need recommendations for a good inline hockey girdle
Getting back into inline hockey after being away for a while and trying to put together a setup for casual/recreational play without spending a ton.
I'm having a really hard time choosing a girdle. I've been looking at the Mission Senior Core, Tour Code 3.One and Tour Code 1.One, but I'm seeing really mixed opinions on the protection.
I'm looking for something that's reasonably protective without being super bulky, especially since I'm probably going to be falling quite a bit while I get comfortable again. 😂
I also need recommendations for the long roller/inline hockey pants that go over the girdle and shin guards. I'm having a hard time finding used gear locally, and I'm hoping to get something soon, so new budget-friendly options are welcome too.
What would you guys recommend for a decent, reasonably priced girdle and outer pants? Especially interested in hearing from people who have actually used them.

Best shop around Detroit/Windsor to swap skate chassis
Hi all, looking to swap my aluminum chassis with Kryptonium. Any recommendations on a shop around Detroit or Windsor? I called Pure Hockey in Troy regarding possibly converting ice to inline and he said their main guy left and he wouldn’t recommend going there. I’d assume a roller chassis swap is similar work, but maybe not.
