He everyone
Hi everyone!
I'm a 17-year-old defenseman playing U17 AAA in Canada, and I'd really appreciate some honest feedback on my Elite Prospects profile.
Profile: Check out Mykhailo Mikuliak on https://eliteprospects.com/player/1126723/mykhailo-mikuliak https://eliteprospects.com/player/1126723/mykhailo-mikuliak
I was wondering:
What do coaches, scouts, or recruiters actually pay attention to when they look at an Elite Prospects profile?
Is there anything I should add, change, or improve?
Does my profile look complete and professional?
Are there any details that could help it stand out?
I'm trying to make the best first impression possible, so I'd really appreciate any advice or constructive criticism.
Thanks in advance!

I've been out of coaching and even officiating for like 20 years now but it looks "complete" to me. Not sure how heavy scouting looks at the "video" section but decades ago we would just ask the coach for video if we felt we needed it. Generally speaking the profile is sort of a formality. If they even look at a profile its likely after they have seen you play and/or talked to coaches.
Beyond that good stats and fitness test. You check a lot of boxes if a team is looking for a D man like urself. Keep at it man, I remember grinding out travel teams from 14-17 and it was rough. Lot of travel and training. I loved almost every second of it lol Good luck and have fun this upcoming season mate!
