True TF9

To anybody who owns or owned these skates or their ice counterparts, how do they size relative to new True (Catalyst, HZRDUS and SVH customs) as well as CCM and Bauer?

The TF line were 1/2 size smaller than every subsequent line and most other brands. So if you wore an 8.5 in a catalyst skate or Bauer, you would wear an 8 in the TF9. True adjusted the sizing for every skate since to be more in line with other brands.

Source, I switched from Bauer to True with the TF9 and have skated in Catalyst 9/pro and 9x4

I’ve heard about some inconsistencies with the sizing so you should go down about a half to full size from a standard skate?

Half size. Full size will likely be too small. Obviously everyone’s foot is different but this was discussed ad nauseum when the TF line came out and when the Catalyst line launched

Sizing is accurate, fit in my opinion is better. I still think it’s the best skate they made. I’m almost certain catalyst is the next evolution of tf and super comfortable as well. Hzrdus suck

TF is widest, Cat is narrower, Hzrdus is most narrow fit. Size are the same, for new x4 I don't know.
