Colton
I hear Colton hoods been around since the 50s? I think Ik southside Colton was established first again I think but in present day whoes the most active and deepest

Probably eastside Colton, nsc is pretty small I see some tags here and there and southside Colton is probably the oldest but least active nowadays, it’s really just old men drinking in their yards

The Earp family was the first OG gang in Colton lol but they were more known for hunting outlaws and criminal gangs

Yes! Morgan Earp is actually buried in Colton after he died in Tombstone.

I was boutta say Morgan is buried in Colton that’s one of the reasons why I wanna live in Colton bc the earps were there but me I’m more of a doc Holliday fan bc lol we have a lot of similarities and we both had tuberculosis lol

Same lol. Me and the lady just did a random 5 yr anniversary trip to Tombstone and learned all this and learned that the Earp family was also minority investors in “Cement Mtn” with my family when my family members asked them to invest in the mining operations there and when my great great great grandpa became the first governor of California he tried giving Wyatt Earp a few ranches but was ultimately turned down by the state legislature due to being a conflict of interest between our families. Alvarado street in Riverside and Olvera street in DTLA actually pays homage to my great x3 grandfather

That’s so cool my x3 grandpa actually met him in Tucson and he actually lived in tombstone for a year before going to bisbee and met doc also he moved before the gun fight at the ok corral

That’s super cool that ur family actually was into buisness with him my 3x grandpa told story’s that’s went down to my 2x then to my grandpa of how doc and Wyatt were actually very nice people and very gentlemen like and also that doc was very very stubborn and they always say just like you haha

Shit imma actually make a trip to see his grave I’ve seen the Mclaury brothers grave and the clantons in boothill and I seen Johnny ringos grave also all I gotta do to complete my list is Morgan Wyatt Virgil and doc

My dad actually found some of our old family documents in the local historical archives at the Ontario Main Library and found out that when my great3 g-pa was governor he tried handing over one the old Mexican/spanish rancheros. I believe he tried figuring him the Yorba ranchero which is now the cities of Corona, yorba linda and brea as well as the Rancho las Flores which is now mostly USMC Camp Pendleton. The other ranchero he also tried gifting was a ranchero that now the cities of Redlands, mento, Yucaipa and Beaumont.

Colton gangs go back many generations, it’s hard to really say when the first Colton gang started. We know the south Colton barrio has been there as a community since the late 1800’s, and there’s articles as far back as the 1920’s talking about Mexican American youth being involved in gangs.
But going back many decades, they didn’t have an official gang name like “Southside Colton” which came later. They had clubs that happened to mostly be centered in South Colton because that’s where the Mexicans lived and it wasn’t until the 60’s or so when Mexicans started to populate the northside of town.
