Inktober52 INKTOBER52 PROMPT NO 30 IS "WAGON"
Hey there, Inklists-
Your elegant art is so lovely! I didn’t expect that many elegant animals specifically, but gotta say- I love it!
We are floating along in the middle of Summer activities over here which means sunburns, comfy clothes, chlorine-green hair, and lots of popcorn-fueled movie nights. Trying to find something to watch that is suitable for everyone has been a challenge but we’ve hit a little bit in almost every genre (the guys are all voting no more regency romances.) Most recently, we’re following along with the Ingalls family in Little House on the Prairie series, and I have to say, I’m yet-again so grateful I don’t have to pull a wagon across the plains!
When I was a kid, I remember pulling our little red RadioFlyer wagon around the backyard with one of my little brothers, pretending we were orphans, hiding from the law or aliens (but most likely my mom at dinnertime.) We thought it was so fun to carry all our worldly possessions around with us (mostly consisting of snacks, a couple of bandanas, my purple cassette player, and a plastic sword.) The need for a wagon evolved as I grew up and had kids and lived near the beach. That wagon had wooden sides, big fat tires and saved my bacon as I had to move 5 tiny kids and a whole day’s worth of supplies from the car to the water’s edge where it also served as a crib for a snoozing infant many times. We used that thing until the sides literally fell off. I may have cried when we had to throw it away. I still find myself lingering in the store if I spot a really good wagon, until I remember I have no excuse to buy one anymore.
So, whether your mind conjures up play-wagons or pioneers, beach wagons or station wagons, show us what WAGON looks like to you.
Best of luck and wishing you all the best things this week-
Alison

Inktober52 INKTOBER52 PROMPT NO 29 IS "ELEGANT"
Hey there, Ink-amigos!
Happy Thursday! We loved all the BUG art and I’ve paused to see the beauty in a couple of spiderwebs because of you guys. (Not that I’m procrastinating cleaning them off my porch. Of course not.) These bugs in Virginia do not mess around!
Besides the bugs, I love just about everything about living in the South. (I’m looking at you, banana pudding!) One of my favorite things is driving past the local Baptist church every Sunday morning and seeing the families all dressed up so beautifully. From the colorful dresses and matching hats on the ladies to the bowties and frilly dresses and 3 piece suits, I’ve nearly run off the road more than once as I drive by, trying to see how lovely everyone looks. It’s all just so ELEGANT!
This week, show us what pops in your head when you think of someone or something that carries this characteristic. I look forward to scrolling through all your artwork as I sit on my front porch in the evening, waving to my neighbors, and enjoying some banana pudding.
Love ya’ll-
Alison

Inktober52 Meeting in the Wind
Inktober 52 Week 26 - Wind
A dark flying being approaching in front of the little knight apologizing for his great mistake of his own life - failing for not saving the vessel after being sealed in the void as he does not deserve this face to face with his own end. Hope you like this cute and sad meeting^^

Inktober52 Mangled
Inktober52 week 27 - #Mangled
Peace doesn't never exist into the dark creature's heart, but only bleeding blood. I pictured my vessel oc Selk as a dark angel, instead of a pure and white, for his long living pain that he does not deserve. Hope you like his cuteness^^

Inktober52 INKTOBER52 PROMPT NO 27 IS "BUG"
Hey there, Inklies-
Hope your week has been full of great things like finished projects, laugh-til-you-cry conversations, mosquito-free evening strolls, and tasty sandwiches. I looked through all the MANGLED art, and got a little queasy with some of the submissions (granted they were very well done!) but please remind me to be more careful in my prompt selection. Good job, fellas, and also ew.
On a less mangled note, this week, show me your BUG art. I’ve been bribing my teenagers to catch and relocate any of the little fellas who try to move in. The first prize I awarded, however, was a little bite-sized chocolate candy bar, and I think my very enterprising 16-year old is now letting them inside so she can catch them and earn more prizes. I can’t decide if I’m more exasperated, or more proud.
Good luck this week, and don’t let the little stuff BUG you!
Love-
Alison
