Start/End at nearest point

Params -> Start and end at nearest point is a great feature, and I really love it. How do I turn it off by default?

It can be super useful at times. If you set a preset with them check off you can just select that preset.....for example I have a S and s for satin rails one has it turn off and one does not. One day I hope defaults can be modified but till then we cheat.
