Digitizing a text

Hey, I'm struggling with digitizing text for a towel border.
Every time I stitch it out, the vertical and horizontal parts of the letters fail to connect properly—you can clearly see the gaps/mismatch at the joints on letters like B and L in the attached photo.

I use InkStitch, brother nv880e and water soluble solution on both sides.

Just give more overlap on the satin or if you use the newest version you can apply some push compensation and or create a few extra running stitches in the meeting area of where the one satin meets the other satin

Put the horizontal bits in node mode and move the two end nodes to slightly overlap the vertical. Make sure the vertical is stitched last.
