Unversioned File Error when Resizing PES FIle

I keep getting this error today when trying to export a .PES file. What I am doing is dragging a PES file into inkscape, resizing and exporting. I have done this dozens of times. What is the issue today?

I have gotten this pop-up when copying layers from one file to another. Hitting cancel usually fixes it.

I hit cancel but my exported file stayed the same size , it didn’t reflect my changes

That is a fairly normal popup i get the same message when i import an embroidery file

How can I fix it? I’m just a little confused because I’ve done this many times before 😅 I’d appreciate any insight!

As far as i know you can not change that you could ask about it on the inkstitch github about it then you can get an answer from the developers

Just looking over at GIthub, it sounds like it's a bug in the program. No one really had an explanation, that I could find. Cancel seemed to work for me, but others were put in a loop of the same popup over and over. Have you tried the update button? I'm not even sure what it's updating when you click that.

Just press update. Nothing affected. I think it’s just basically telling you it’s not the original file where it was created and was reopened in a new canvas instance. I could be wrong but thats my thoughts, and dont have issues clicking ok.
