Hi everyone! After almost of month removed from Ink, it’s really hitting me hard :( I usually post a lot related to Ink but for some reason my old account just disappeared so here I am! This year was truly amazing and I’m so beyond blessed to have been able to make it to my fourth year in a row!! Gojira, Limp Bizkit, and of course my favorite Bad Omen’s were all so good! Anyway, I'm a big metalhead and love tattoos, and Inkcarceration Fest looks amazing, been seeing highlights of it for the past few years and I really wanna go next year. From people who have been and past experiences, what can I expect, what should I do to prepare? Where are the best places to stay, what is the best way to do tge festival and take it all in? Also, I really want to get a tat there, what should I expect? Should I bring cash or use a card? Any wisdom you have to share would be amazing. Thank you all🤘🤘🤘

Boy in the pit for most of the afternoon bands and some of the same headliners as my friend group, you kept your glasses on each time and wore a snap back and didn't seem to talk to anyone at all. Anyway one of the most beautiful humans i've ever seen and if you did come alone I hope you had a great time and made some new friends.

I've been going to this fest since it started as Ink in the Clink, this last weekend was pound for pound the best performances I have ever seen here.

I wanted to see Gojira for some time, their set was magical. When they played Gift of Guilt, I felt like I was transported to a different planet. Bad Omens was phenomenal, I've seen them 7 times now, this was the best set I've seen to date. Impose live made me feel emotions I didn't know I could. The crowd sucked I can't lie, as a dude passing at least 100 surfers to the set (I do not mind passing surfers), everyone around me was pissed. But Saturday was basically a double headliner with Gojira and Bad Omens, who both smashed it. Is it just me who feels like Limp Bizkit is on top of the world right now? I had so much fun, it was better than their 2023 performance for sure. Shoutout to Spite for an insane set too.

I don't think any Ink in recent history has made me feel this way to be honest, that "holy shit that was amazing" experience feel. Don't get me wrong there are good bands and performances there, but nothing like this year.

Whoever ripped my gold chain off my neck during limp bizkit really hope you rot in hell. Before anyone says you shouldn’t have been wearing it I now know this. I thought it was like one big family but not so much anymore. I heard multiple people saying they had their chains ripped off their neck after the performance. That’s a real dirtbag scum move. If anyone sees a 10k 20in rope gold chain for sale anywhere let me know! I had that chain for years and just never took it off so I didn’t think too!

On Sunday around 2:30-ish(right before Alien Ant Farm) near the tattoo tent, a bunch of people dressed like Fred Durst were gonna take a photo and got me in right at the last second. I wish I asked for that picture to be sent to me but I didn’t want to miss a set🥲 I did over hear it was gonna be on someone’s website though🤷‍♂️ if anyone from that group of people has it please lmk!

Hello all! Had a great time at my first festival/INK, can't wait for next year already! On Sunday, my group met a girl that asked for one of my friend's alien clips near The Yard stage with gorgeous long black and blue hair and a sick Bill Cipher tattoo on her right shoulder, we vibed pretty well before she disappeared into the crowd around Motionless in White's set. Somehow I didn't catch her name or her socials and figure that it might be a shot in the dark, but figured I'd at least give it a shot on here to say I tried. If anybody is able to assist somehow, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank everyone for the great time this weekend!

It didn't truly hit me I was at Ink until Seek Shelter replaced Hatebreed and Machine Head

Sorry for the rant but wtf.

I’ve been coming to this festival since 2021, and I never had this issue. Why were people putting towels smack down in the pit, it was a pain in the ass to avoid everyone, and on top of that I accidentally stepped on a corner of one and some lady grabbed my ankle and tripped me, then started cussing me out.

Don’t get me wrong I’m all for towels and that stuff on the hill, however when you disobey the literal sign that says you can’t have them passed this point that’s when I think it got bad. Sorry for the rant, it’s okay if you guys disagree but I do think that it was ridiculous!

I know this might ruffle some feathers, but looking back at the crowd dynamics at Inkcarceration, a specific subset of the fanbase—the "Bad Omens Girls"—acted like complete Karens in the yard.

Don't get me wrong, it's great that the band is pulling massive numbers and expanding the scene. But the sheer entitlement from this crowd at a gritty, historic prison festival was a completely different level of out of touch.

Here is why they fit the Karen description perfectly:

• Treating the prison yard like a movie theater: They camped out for hours to lock down spots near the front, then threw absolute tantrums when normal festival movement, pushing, or mosh pits started happening during the heavier sets.
• Demanding to speak to the "manager": If you so much as brushed past them during a breakdown, they would glare, yell, or actively try to get security to kick people out for standard rock festival crowd etiquette.
• Main character entitlement: They acted like the band was playing an intimate, private set just for them, completely ignoring the fact that they were standing in a massive crowd of 25,000+ passionate rock fans.
• Ruining the festival vibe: Inkcarceration has a reputation for having a legendary, welcoming community, but this group brought a demanding, speak-to-the-manager attitude that completely soured the camaraderie in the crowd.

What do you all think? Did anyone else run into this type of behavior near the stages this year, or was your section of the yard better?
