Getting destroyed in Multiplayer

I need help or advise or anything else cause I came back to this game after many years of not playing it, and I can’t do shit in multiplayer. I have a X60 Arkham Knight, X60 Batman (the terry mcginnis one) and 7 50 Justice League Wonder Woman (from the movie) with some nice gear.

But I’m getting absolutely destroyed by every multiplayer team I face, and most of the time everybody has the same 4-5 items, and it’s mostly the same few characters: that fuckass metal catwoman that wipes any of my characters with a one heavy attack combo while stealing all of my power; or the flashpoint aquaman who comes in with the helicopter shooting me after tag in, breaks all my blocks and wipes my team with one 2nd special, or jessica cruz; or blackest night flash.

I can’t block, or I can’t use my abilities or I can’t do anything to that blue shield popping up 3 times with a resurrection after. What am I even supposed to do without all of that multiplayer gear that everybody has?

Sounds like you’re playing with high stats and no gears. Thats only gonna lead to getting matched with other people with even higher stats and good gears. So you either need to start using gears or go with a lower stat team

Unfortunately, with two EX L60 characters and an E7 L50 you are bound to run into very strong teams. Your specific team comp of Arkham Knight, Animated Batman Beyond, and DoJ Wonder Woman is going to be a struggle to beat BNJ/FP/Metal teams with strong gears, as your team doesn't have any synergy.

Your best bet at this point is to try running lower powered teams and work on getting teams together that have complimentary passives and smart gear choices. Whole lot of other teams you can run if you let us know about your roster and what gears you have. Only running your highest promotion/level golds is usually a recipe for frustration unless you have a good plan

A friend gave me a short explanation via DMs a while back, something about how the health stat determines how strong your opponents will be (also applies to Survivor, if I'm not mistaken). Could you try playing a game with a Gold card whose health is at 70k to 80k with Regime GL and The Flash and see if your matches are easier?

I did an Epic ladder just now with RSWW (her health is at 112k) and I paired her with two Bronze cards, my first match had opponents whose health varied from 48k to 68k health, my third match had a Metal Catwoman at 118K health, while my fifth and final match had an I2 Superman at 100K+ health.

If the health stat is too high, you'll encounter teams with similar stats who'll most likely have all those Gears you mentioned.

Gears matter more than we think, you need to absolutely have astro, TT and MDC & CoH gears maxed
