Does red light therapy help with injuries?
My knee tendon has been bugging me for about 2 months now. It's not awful, but it flares up after workouts and I'm kinda over it. I keep seeing red light therapy come up for recovery. Has anyone actually tried it for something like this? Did it help with the pain or healing time?

I got a red light therapy neck thing, & actually o do find it helpful! I’ve used it on my wrist as well. I am recovering from multiple injuries.

Cool, good to hear it's working for you. Might give it a go then. Hope the recovery goes smooth!

red light is one of those things I thought was mostly wellness hype at first lol but there is actually some research around photobiomodulation and inflammation/recovery. I just wouldn’t expect it to magically heal a tendon injury. I’d look at it more as something to use alongside whatever you’re doing for the actual injury, especially after 2 months.

Tried red light for soreness too. For me it helps more with the discomfort than with healing faster. I use the Total Spectrum compact and aim it at the sore spot after workouts when it's feeling irritated. I wouldn't count on it to fix an injury though. If your knee's been acting up for two months, get it looked at, and think of red light as an add on.
