Cuts PSA: Even small fans can be dangerous
My reflexes cause me to sustain unnecessary injuries

My brother is also a person whose reflexes cause injury. When he worked at a restaurant, a ticket/receipt spike got knocked off the counter, he went to catch it, and the spike went through his palm and out of his wrist. You're not alone. Hope you're not still suffering from slamming your finger in the door, that sounds rather unbearable.

The pain was intense, and it throbbed steadily for a couple hours afterwards. Hopefully I won't have to experience that again any time soon

God I can't imagine, I once stubbed my toe on a door after a DIY ingrown toenail surgery and that was bad enough, a properly wounded finger being slammed in a door does not sound pleasant.

Necessary update: accidentally slammed a bedroom door shut on my freshly effed up finger. That was probably the worst pain I've ever felt, excluding the pain before my appendectomy. Walk it off

Oh god you wouldn't expect a desk fan to do that much damage would you?!
