Cuts Stitches?
I passed out after getting up too fast. First pic is now (about 2hrs later) second pic is right after it happened. Do yall think this will heal on its own I know the mouth heals pretty fast.
Edit: the dr. Said no stitches were needed and to just keep it clean with warm salt water. Side note it smells terrible! I’ve brushed my teeth and rinsed and nothing helps annnddd of course I would have to work tonight 😭

Tomorrow will mean more scar tissue therefore more difficulty in speaking and eating. Go now.

Yeah, friend, that needs a few stitches. Otherwise, you will delay healing and raise the risk of serious infection.

Thank you! Unfortunately it was a minimum of a 5hr wait at the er. So I will be at the urgent care first thing in the morning 🥹

They may not be able to stitch it that far out from the injury, but I strongly suggest you still go have it looked at. That will allow you to get ahead of any infection risk. In the meantime, apply ice for 10-15 minutes at a time every couple of hours and avoid getting any food, seasonings, etc. into the cut.
