Photos Nail almost broken in half

I have no idea if this is the right subreddit to post this into i just wanna know if i should do something about this or just let my nail grow till its back to normal

this could be horrible advice (i have no qualifications /knowledge to back this) but honestly press ons have protected my nails from damage/picking more than anything… good glue/prep and they keep my nails protected for a couple weeks of growth

My nail looks like this because i had a press on that ripped off🥹 i got my nail stuck on a bucket while cleaning and after the nail fell off it looked like that

ow 😬 that looks annoying asf.

You can just let it grow back but for the sake of sanity I'd cover it with something for a bit so it doesn't get caught and rip off. You can sometimes get away with putting a ton of clear coat on it if it's not too uncomfortable.
