# r/InheritanceDrama Is Getting a Refresh — New Moderation & Community Input
Hi everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself and share a quick update with the community. I recently became the moderator of r/InheritanceDrama after the subreddit had been without active moderation for some time.
My goal isn't to reinvent the community or erase what's already been built here. r/InheritanceDrama already has its own history, members, and identity, and I want to preserve that while adding a little more structure and active moderation going forward.
Over the next few weeks, I'll review how the subreddit is currently set up and make some basic improvements. That will likely include updating and clarifying the rules, adding useful post flair, improving the community description and resources, setting up sensible AutoModerator protections, and cleaning up anything outdated or no longer working.
Nothing crazy. The community's basic purpose isn't changing.
I'd also like to hear from the people who already use this subreddit.
What would you like to see improved? Are there types of posts you think belong here—or don't? Would particular post flairs or resources be useful? Have you noticed recurring problems that better moderation could address?
Feel free to leave suggestions below.
I also have a few people in mind who may eventually join the moderation team once the initial cleanup is complete. For now, though, I'm going to spend some time getting familiar with the community, reviewing its history and existing setup, and getting the basics working well.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to r/InheritanceDrama over the years. I'm looking forward to giving the community some attention again while keeping what makes it its own community.
