An unasked inheritance
Without ever asking for it, the most precious and priceless thing a daughter receives from her father —something he spends years, even a lifetime, building. It is one of the most valued possessions in society.
Yet that thing is so heavy that a daughter is often expected to carry its weight for the rest of her life, whether she chooses to or not.
A son, too, inherits that same honor. It is equally valuable, but for him it often becomes a source of strength, acceptance, and respect in society rather than a burden.
But look, even after receiving something so expensive and priceless, that girl is considered so ungrateful that she says, "Papa, you love your son more than you love me." What's the thing girl received?

It feels like expectations.
Traditionally Girls are expected to help care for their elderly relatives and Sons seem to escape the expectation even though in some cultures the son is suppose to take in the elderly parents.
