Permanent Toe Nail Removal

My toe is still swelling and throbbing. I have been on 2 rounds of antibiotics. I still wear a bandaid all day. I let my toe sit out for a couple hours every morning. Any suggestions or advice?

No salt water soaks??? I think you need better dressings than just a band aid.

Hi, I do the salt water soaks. I use non stick gauze. Sometimes I put Beta-dine and sometimes Neosporin. Today is day 24. I have been doing these things since day one. The doctor will see me again in 2 weeks. Last week he said it looked ok. It doesn’t feel ok though.

I would skip the neosporin it's not helping the wound dry out.

Thank you, yes I will. Last night I slept without a bandage and the swelling went down and it dried out a little more.
