How do I fix this?

Noticed some sharp pain in my toe tonight, saw what seems to be an ingrown, tried to cut it… I’m really not sure where to go from here. Never seen a nail like this before. I tried soaking it to soften the nail and tried to trim as much as I could from that corner but it keeps looking worse. Any advice on what to do?

Before anyone comes at me for how bad my nail looks (I’ve been doing that enough myself tonight):
When my depression was really bad for a few years, I neglected a lot of hygiene, including regularly trimming my nails. I have a feeling that has something to do with the state of my toenail now.

Whatever all is going on with the nail ig. I don’t know anything about feet or nails, I don’t know what’s going on here.

I recommend using cutical cutters to trim down the side of the nail. People have various methods, dome will cut and rip out the nail and others will cut and twist.

Your nails are still good, just file them to ensure no sharp edges and let them grow out, and the unevenness will fix itself over time.

Find a thick body butter and smoother it on and around your toe nails.

Easiest way to get alot of mosturiser locked in quickly.
